The Florida Memory website provides digital access to select records from the collections of the State Archives of Florida and the special collections of the State Library of Florida. Many of the collections on Florida Memory have significant genealogical value, including some really unusual ones that you won’t find on the larger databases like Ancestry and FamilySearch. In this program, Archives Historian Dr. Josh Goodman will provide a virtual tour of the website, as well as a sneak peek at some of the collections that are slated to be added to Florida Memory in the near future. The tour will also point out some of the tools the Florida Memory staff have developed to help users navigate these collections and get the most out of them.
