"A Complex Journey in Discovering Ancestral Connections to the Founding of North America" Michael N. Henderson will share insights into how he identified ancestors who played a pivotal role in the founding and expansion of Montreal, Canada, and French and Spanish Colonial Louisiana. The stories of Henderson's German, French, Native American, and African ancestors weave an intricate tapestry of America's diverse beginnings as far back as 1658. He is the author of "Got Proof! My Genealogical Journey Through the Use of Documentation", which will be available at the meeting.

We announced in the Scribe that GGS would be featuring the Georgia Research - Second Edition for $10 at the December Awards meeting and luncheon on 7 December. After checking our stock of Georgia Research books, we find that we do not have an ample supply on hand at this time to feature it for $10 at the 7 December meeting. In its place, we will feature Georgia Land Lottery Research for $10. Other books will be for sale at the regular meeting prices.
